Johanna

Meet Johanna

Hi, I'm Johanna, the owner of Drunken Goats Farm and a self-proclaimed half-assed Martha Stewart. With a strong background in hospitality from decades spent working in the front of the house, I decided to take my experience to a new level. I developed my culinary skills as an avid self-taught cook, or, as I like to call it, a graduate of the 'Food Network School of Culinary Arts.' To complement my hands-on experience, I earned a nutrition certification from Stanford University. As my events grew, I discovered that my favorite thing isn't just food, it's what happens around the table. Good food has a way of turning strangers into friends, building community, and making people feel cared for. I created DGF 4 years ago in Talent, Oregon, as a place where people could gather and connect over shared meals. Today, I host monthly vegan supper clubs on my mini farm, offer meal prep, and cater events throughout Southern Oregon. Our supper clubs combine globally inspired menus, a welcoming community, and a little farm charm, including visits with our friendly goats, whose drinking habits may or may not have helped inspire the farm's name. Whether you're here for a supper club, meal prep or just hanging with goats, I'm so happy you're here.

The Rest of the Crew

Udi & Johanna

Udi & Johanna

Hi, we're Udi & Johanna (aka The Food Lady & Other Guy). We've been rescuing each other since 2010. Johanna is the force behind the animals and DGF. Udi is the reluctant helper and Johanna's dream come true maker. If he’s not here, it’s because he’s either playing bass at a show or flying a plane somewhere in the world.

Seebs

Seebs

Aloha, my name is Seebs. I am a La Mancha/Sanaan mix. La Manchas don’t have ears, so neither do I. I was born on Maui in 2015. My first human mom needed to find me a good home before she moved off island. She & Johanna connected & I became a part of this family & eventually moved off island too. I am shy at first, but if you have treats, I’ll get over that quick. I LOVE WINE & ATTENTION!

Piper

Piper

Hey, what’s up? I’m Piper. I was born at a dairy farm in Rogue River in 2016 & am a Nubian mix. I moved in with Johanna in 2019 with my two 4-week-old kids, Jake & Maggie. I would love to always be buzzed at Drunken Goats Farm, but someone (damn human) doesn’t let me do my own shopping. So, as a single mother of a clingy son & a bratty daughter, I try to take life pretty chill.

Jake

Jake

Um, hi? My name’s Jake. I was born in 2020 & am Piper’s boy. I’m pretty shy & a little socially inept. I LOVE my goat mom! I don’t like it when she goes around the corner without me. I always need her in my line of sight & prefer being within headbutting range. I like my human okay. She’s nice & has fingers for scratching & feeding, which is cool.

Maggie

Maggie

OMG! What do you want?! I’m Maggie, obviously the prettiest here. Whatever. Jake’s my brother, Piper’s my mom, like I even care. I might let you touch me, I might not. You are NOT the boss of me. Sometimes I sneak some wine out of the food lady’s glass but if I can smell her cooties on there, no way. That is so gross! And no, I’m not preggo. RUDE! It’s called curves.

Penelope

Penelope

Hi. I’m Penelope, newest & cutest goat. They used to call me The Food Goblin, because if I wasn’t sleeping, I was eating. Since moving to DGF, I have had the opportunity to try ALL the food and now have standards. I was born on May 4th, 2024, to a backyard farmer in Gold Hill. Because I was born with a parrot mouth, I was deemed unbreedable, “superfluous” & needed to go. That’s okay, this is where I am supposed to be. A land of love, scratches, no rules & so much food.

Archer

Archer

Hi, I'm Archer! I was born in October 2025 and joined the DGF crew in January 2026. I’ve been busy learning the ways of the goats, mostly how to keep a safe distance from their horns while still trying to convince them to play with me. My absolute favorite job is greeting everyone at the supper clubs, and I happily tag along with the humans on all our social circle outings. I like to think I’m a pretty vital member of the team!

Lila

Lila

I’m Lila. I was saved by The Crowned Cat rescue from a life on the streets in 2022 as a kitten. The Food Lady brought me home shortly after. My main job is to terrorize Seamus & the chickens & to loudly demand food or attention. You probably won’t see me, but trust me, I’m watching you the whole time you’re here.

In Memorial

Francis & Izza

Francis & Izza

Francis & Izza were the beginning of this whole thing. They joined our family in 2013 when they were only 3 weeks old. They were two of the most special beings you could ever find. Izza was & is Johanna’s soulmate. Francis was the devilish charmer everyone loved to be harassed by. They both brought endless joy to our lives. They traveled with us from Arizona to Maui & Oregon. Izza lost her fight to complications to CAE in July of 2019 and Frannie left us in August of 2023. They are both missed terribly and the farm is not the same without them.

Seamus

Seamus

Seamus was the life of the party. He greeted everyone as if they were his best friend, giving them all a chance to throw his ball for him or sneak him snacks. He was best friends with Penelope; the two of them would play games of tag and compete for attention. He looked after the herd, even learning what the different sounds meant from both the chickens and the goats. He was supposed to live forever, he promised, but we lost him so quickly and unexpectedly when he was just 6 years old. There will never be a being like him. He has my whole heart.
